Loupe Awards 2014

Every year I enter a number of photography competitions to not only show case my work but to also recieve feed back and gain experiance in looking for high impact images. This year was no exception and I entered  The International Loupe Awards.

The International Loupe Awards (formerly known as the International Aperture Awards) was established in 2008 with a mission beyond that of most photographic competitions. The International Loupe Awards is one of the world’s richest online photography competitions, now in its 5th year and entered by thousands of photographers World Wide.
This year I was lucky enough to awarded 2 silver and a bronz award for the following images.

About The Loupe Awards.

To deliver opportunities that ensure wider exposure for photographers and allow them to gauge the perception of their work on the world stage.
The Awards are not solely centred on the cult of ‘the winner’ or ‘the competition’ but also offer an educational aspect for participants, such as detailed feedback from the judges.
The judges – all high-profile photographic identities – are selected from 10 countries across the globe, and are unable to judge their own nationality to remove regional biases from the judging process.Today, the International Loupe Awards average 4,800 individual entries from 103 different countries, and that number continues to grow with every year.Photographers entering images in the Open Award are eligible for cash prizes across categories, as well as a major award of approximately US$15,000.
Amateur Award entrants are offered prizes in photographic gear and equipment.
