Painting With Light – Tiger Tree By Nick Gorst.

Tiger tree was taken by Nick Gorst during The Painting With Light Workshop on the 2nd February 2014.

During our Workshops, we explore the effects that different lights sources have on subjects. We practice using different camera settings and how to focus you camera in low light situations.

I demonstrate how to use different sources and then each student chooses a light source and decides on the effect they are after.

On this occasion one of the students decided on a small white LED to Paint With Light on the Tree. The small single bulb light provided a sharp source that he used to paint in a stripping fashion on the tree.
